Do you think his feelings changed? please help me out?

I friend that likes a guy told me the guy said he doesn't think I'm attractive but I'm a really nice person. He's a very affectionate happy guy in general, and he's always been a sweetheart of a friend and I love him to death but I thought it was all platonic. He's been giving me lots more hugs and they're longer than they used to be. One of them was even sort of a dip lol. Then recently he was grinning up at me and told me he had a dream about me. I clarified that it was a dream, and while flattered I wasn't exactly happy because my friend likes him. But I didn't say that part. He kept saying he's so bad and shaking his head but he was grinning. Do you think he "like" likes me or it's just a fluke? Be honest I'm not necessarily wanting a yes here.
