With all the mountains of credible proof by credible people why do blind skeptics keep denying the paranormal?

Basically,why do blind skeptics and outright dis-believers continue to act like those who have had paranormal experiences,are crazy,loony or hypnotized by themselves,or believers of fantasy,when there have been mountains of proven evidence despite hoaxes,and the list of credible people from presidents to top scientists to decorated police officers have more than validated that there is paranormal happenings.
