Religion in the constitution preventing equality?

i agree with it 100% and i wish people would be more accepting toward how things were back then because back when it was written religion was not a huge issue. A LOT of the people were under the same if not close to the same religion and that is why they wrote the constitution how it is written....it has nothing to do with discrimination, or civil rights, or hate....its just how things were when it was written...they were under gods law therefore writing the constitution under gods law (so to speak)
