Difference between laptop processors?

Yeah, bigger cache takes load of the memory and cpu from having to work so hard because your memory holds information that the cpu needs to process but before it goes and searches for that info from ram memory it looks to the cache memory first and more can be stored there if cache size is bigger. This gives faster response time. Anyways, 1mb to 2mb is not much difference and if you can save some money by getting the 1mb cache I would do it. I would spend that money you save there on the ram upgrade and you should see quite a bit of performance upgrade say from 2gb of ram to 4gb of ram. That is a substancial increase in memory and anytime you can get that much increase in ram memory I would do it. Good Luck.
