Yes that can be done and in some cases, can actually be safer when done under medical supervision. There can be some pretty heavy duty side effects with stopping cold turkey. However, the key is supervision. Alcoholics find it very difficult to stop at a certain number of drinks.

With all the mountains of credible proof by credible people why do blind skeptics keep denying the paranormal?

Basically,why do blind skeptics and outright dis-believers continue to act like those who have had paranormal experiences,are crazy,loony or hypnotized by themselves,or believers of fantasy,when there have been mountains of proven evidence despite hoaxes,and the list of credible people from presidents to top scientists to decorated police officers have more than validated that there is paranormal happenings.

Soon as my boyfriend's (now my husband) ex-girlfriend knew that we dated, I began to receive pictures of him and his ex when they were dating (of course before I ever knew him) from unknown email address. Then as we were soon to be married, I received IMs using yahoo IDs I never knew, warning me not to marry my husband telling me that he was already married before. My husband also received IM from this same yahoo ID telling him he should not marry me since my reason of marrying him was because I just want to be near with somebody I truly love in the US, since I lived in another country. His ex girlfriend also keeps posting their past pictures in the internet. It took her 3 years continuing to bother us, and she still is. How come she is this so jealous? If not, why do you think she is doing this?

How can I mount my LCD tv over a stone fireplace?

I have a 32" sony LCD that I want to mount above a cultured stone fireplace. I could easily put the tv on the mantle but the mantle is way to high. The mantle itself sticks out about 5". This is really the only place I can put it except for another awkward wall on the side. Is there any other way to hang it above the fireplace? Any ideas would be really helpful.

ok, so when you place a salt crystal in a water solvent the polar covalent bonds in the h2o gives oxygen a partial negative charge because of its electronegativiety thus the hydrogen becomes slightly positive. the oxygen attracts the sodium cations and the hyrdrogen attract the chrlorine ions hense breaking there bond. since chloride is a poisonus gas and sodium is a metal why isnt salt water toxic. you are breaking the bond in the crystal there for chlorine is present in a alone state. does chlorine have to covalently bond to another chlorine atom in order to become toxic. thanks also if you where to dissolve salt in water could you some how allow the water to evaporate and would sodium metal be present or would the sodium ions and chlorine ions rebond and just form salt again.thanx!
