I am having some propane stove problems.?

There was a pan of grease on the stove and it got spilled, we cleaned it up very well but the stove still will not light...all the knobs only work 1 igniter on the stove and we cant even get it lit with matches...I am quickly regretting the switch to a propane stove I should have just stayed with electric. Can anyone please tell me how this can be fixed cheaply because like everyone else I am not made of money.
