Do Rabbis perform house clearings?

Rabbi is only a ceremonial master or leader for such events and has no spiritual capabilities to ward off ghost or anything bad in you house. Though Christians believe that their Priest can, Jews are not very particular with Rabbi being their God's temporary presenter but rather just a sole word messenger.
